Megan Heath- CSW

Megan graduated from Portland State University in 1987 with a master’s degree in social work. Megan has worked in a variety of capacities and has experience working with adults, couples, and older adults. Megan uses individualized therapeutic approach that is evidence based, and client centered. Her specialties include working with addiction and codependency, depression, anxiety, loss and grief, and childhood trauma, and relationship issues. She has experience working with the LGBTQ population. She’s also helped clients facing faith crisis, and how to navigate spiritual change.

 

She believes that everyone deserves to find their best possible selves in therapy and loves seeing clients become free from debilitating problems. “Seeing clients move from surviving into thriving is so gratifying!” Megan has had many broad life experiences and has herself benefitted from therapy. “Finding a good fit with a therapist is key to building the trust that’s needed for change.”

 

Megan loves hiking, crocheting, reading, and spending time with her three adult children, and 10 grandchildren. Her husband Ed works at Utah State University. They’ve been married for 37 years.
